Working in Partnership with Parents

It is important for your child that we work together to provide continuity of care and that the child doesn’t become confused with different standards of behaviour and boundaries.

As the parent you are the central adult in the child’s life. I will always try and work along with you and carry out your wishes whenever I can. We therefore need to have excellent communication. I understand that there isn’t always time to chat in the mornings and evenings, so I have a daily communication book. I will fill in this book every day with feeds, naps etc. I would be grateful if you also use this book to note things down like if your child has had a bad night. I am always happy to discuss your child’s care at a convenient time to suit us both.

Please keep me informed of any changes to your contact information.

As your child develops and starts potty training or weaning I will discuss this with you, so we can work together to carry out your wishes.

If you have any concerns about your child’s development I will share them with you and seek support is necessary.
